  • It's not about 'Oh, so gay couples can be married? Well - I guess I'll go marry a donkey then...' at all! The ISSUE or, rather the QUESTION is - WHY? A civil union is no different - why take the word marriage and put it on something that it is not.

  • None in the gay community want this issue to go to the voters because the issue would be steamrolled if it were left to the MAJORITY to decide. The way it works, kids, is the majority of the people make the decisions the REST of the people must live by. Being more vocal does NOT make you more right.
